Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various landscaping tasks that contribute to the construction and beautification of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, possess mechanical knowledge, and be skilled in various landscaping techniques.
Responsibilities
- Dig and prepare soil for planting and landscaping projects.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete landscaping tasks.
- Build structures such as garden beds, retaining walls, patios or other landscape features as needed.
- Assist in the planting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation as directed.
- Prep soil for sod and lay sod
- Follow safety protocols while working with mechanical equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating various landscaping equipment.
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening is preferred.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices and principles is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
- Previous experience in construction or hardscape installation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
