Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and installation techniques including torch on, as well as the ability to work safely at heights. The Roofer will play a vital part in ensuring the quality of roofing structures while adhering to project specifications and industry standards. This role may require out of town work, generally worked on a 3 and 1 or 2 and 2 rotation. Additional compensation will be provided for out of town work.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing materials on commercial buildings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment efficiently and safely
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment as needed
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing roofs and perform necessary repairs
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flat roofing is required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Handyman experience is a plus
- Physical stamina to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for job site access
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is advantageous

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
