Armstrong & Small is looking for a Licensed Optician or experienced Eyewear Dispenser / Frame Stylist to join our growing Osborne Village team.
We're currently seeking someone passionate about helping people look and see their best through eyewear. The successful candidate will assist patients with:
- Frame selection and styling
- Lens recommendations
- Eyewear dispensing
- Adjustments and repairs
- Delivering exceptional customer service and patient care
While our immediate need is in optical, we love helping team members expand their skills and interests. Additional training opportunities may be available in areas such as:
- Contact lens fittings
- Ocular hygiene and dry eye treatments in our Eyespa
- Pre-testing and diagnostic imaging
- Other optical and clinical support roles
Several members of our team currently work in both the optical and medical sides of the practice, creating varied and rewarding career paths.
Qualifications
- Licensed Optician preferred, but not required
- Experience dispensing eyewear in an optical setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets
- Contact Lens Fitting License
- Experience in frame styling and lens consultations
- Interest in expanding into clinical or specialty care roles
