Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Duties
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.
- Analyze images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret findings and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff.
- Document patient information accurately within electronic health records.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and medical practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
- Certification or licensure in sonography or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise imaging results.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
