Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow sanitation procedures and uphold health department standards at all times
- Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality and efficiency
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles related to food service
