Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities, including meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Will work under the Lead Cook & Back of house Manager.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage food inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
