We are looking for an experienced and proactive EIT Operations - Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong accountability, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of 5-10 IT professionals. This role emphasises a high degree of people management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service delivery, fostering team harmony, and driving continuous improvement in processes and performance.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Winnipeg office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Senior Technology Manager
Own and promote the Global Operating Manual, suggesting improvements for internal processes and presenting these to Senior Management.
Lead a team of 5-10 IT professionals with minimal oversight, aligning team efforts with management's goals.
Manage vendor relationships and attend cross-functional meetings to collaborate on processes.
Own and maintain the EIT budget, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
Ensure regular check-ins with executives to meet their day-to-day IT needs.
Apply key principles of team management to optimise team performance.
Maintain a technical and people management focus of 10/90 split.
Proven experience in IT team leadership within an enterprise environment.
Strong technical background with expertise in EITops technologies.
Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations calmly.
Experience with budget management and adherence.
Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
