Position Title: Parts Counter Technician
Location: Calgary, AB
Full/Part Time: Full Time
Status: Permanent Position
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00am to 6:00pm)
*Occasional Saturday shift when necessary*

What is the Role?
ColdFront requires a Parts Counter Technician responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both our internal and external customers. This individual will contribute to our business model by providing the necessary support to the Service Department team; front counter/order desk, warehouse and back counter as well as directly supporting customers; both new and repeat business.
This Role will also be responsible for supporting the daily activities within the warehouse.

The successful candidate will not only be responsible for the customer service of our parts and products to our customers, but in this role, you will be a front line ambassador of the ColdFront Brand during your daily tasks and interactions. Preference will be given to Journeyman parts person/equivalent experience

Role Responsibilities:
- Taking orders via phone, fax, email and in person
- Checking stock levels on computer system
- Looking up parts in parts manuals for customers
- Keeping customers up to date with ETA’s on back orders
- Provide technical assistance to customers
- Provide alternative products/solutions for out of stock items or long lead-time items
- Co-ordinate orders with shipping department
- Resolving incorrect orders or shipping errors with customers
- Responsible for building strong customer relations
- Warehouse support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Red Seal Certification would be an asset
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, enjoys working with people and helping customers
- Self-motivated, strong problem solving abilities, continuous improvement and proven decision making skills
- Extremely well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Previous parts person/counter experience is an asset

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
