Position Summary
The Summit Centre for Preschool Children with Autism is seeking a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) to provide clinical leadership, behavioural oversight, staff supervision, and service development support as the organization modernizes and restructures its autism services.
The RBA will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and staff team to:
· ensure alignment with current Ontario regulation and professional standards,
· support evidence-informed, developmental, and family-centered intervention,
· strengthen supervision and clinical governance systems,
· guide the organization through a phased modernization of services.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, relationship-centered, and experienced in contemporary developmental behavioural intervention approaches.
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Governance
· Provide clinical leadership for all behavioural services within the organization in compliance with CPBAO Standards of Professional Conduct.
· Develop and oversee supervision systems, competency standards, and treatment review procedures.
· Participate in organizational clinical governance and policy development
· Review data collection systems and ensure clinically meaningful decision-making processes.
Parent Coaching & Family Support
· Support the development and implementation of structured parent coaching services.
· Provide direct treatment and coaching to families using evidence-informed models.
· Collaborate with families to identify meaningful and functional goals.
· Promote family-centered and relationship-based intervention practices.
Staff Supervision & Training
· Provide direct supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, in alignment with Standard 4 of the College of Behaviour Analysts and Psychologists.
· Support staff training related to evidence-based intervention programs at the individual and group level for preschool children with autism.
· Support ongoing professional growth and reflective practice among staff.
Program Development & Service Modernization
· Support the development of play-based developmental programming, parent coaching services, and group-based intervention opportunities.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals including.
· Assist with evaluation of future service expansion opportunities.
Qualifications
Required:
· Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA Ont.) in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
· Master’s degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years experience supporting autistic children and families.
· Experience supervising behavioural staff and implementing competency-based supervision systems.
· Strong knowledge of developmental behavioural intervention, evidence-informed ABA practices, and Ontario behavioural service regulation.
· Valid Vulnerable Sector check (must be provided by successful candidate).
· Demonstrated collaborative leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong clinical judgement, and a commitment to family-centered care.
Additional consideration may be given to applicants with:
· Experience implementing Naturalistic Developmental Behaviour Intervention (I.e. Early Start Denver Model, PRT, Project ImPACT, etc.).
· Experience with parent-mediated intervention.
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and role structure. Applicants may anticipate $60,000 annually, based on experience and benefits will be discussed within the interview process.
