Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, team player, that is organized, with excellent written/oral communication skills. You will be responsible for set-up, operation, and general maintenance of a machine, used to fabricate laminates, papers and films. Additional responsibilities will include quality control, completing work order paperwork, and keeping your work area clean and organized. Experience as an operator is an asset, but not mandatory (training will be provided). This position is for our full-time, day shift; Monday-Friday (7:00am-3:30pm)
Duties
- Operate CNC machines, and other manufacturing equipment with precision and care
- Set up machines according to blueprints, drawings, or technical specifications using tools such as calipers and hand tools
- Program and troubleshoot machines utilizing controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate machining and assembly
- Perform quality control checks throughout production using measuring instruments and inspection techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper packaging of finished products for shipment
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as material handling and inventory management when needed
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during setup and quality checks
- Experience with quality control procedures, using calipers or other measurement tools to ensure specifications are met
- Warehouse experience including familiarity with hand tools, packaging procedures, and basic inventory management

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
