Albion Golf Cars, Toronto, is seeking an experienced Golf Cart Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of golf carts and utility vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on gas and electric golf carts.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and battery issues.
- Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and precision instruments. (Hoist and tools provided)
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with the parts and service manager to explain repair processes and timelines.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a golf cart mechanic or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong knowledge of golf cart systems, both gas and electric.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license. Lift truck training an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Hours: Full-time in season 8:00-4:00; part-time in off-season
Compensation: $28 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience. Benefits after a three-month trial period.
