Job Description
NextGen Eco Services is currently looking for reliable and qualified workers to join our team for upcoming construction and post-construction projects. We are seeking individuals who have the proper safety certifications and hands-on equipment training required to work safely and efficiently on site.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and able to assist with a variety of site duties as needed.
Required Certifications / Competencies
Applicants must have the following:
- Fall Protection
- SCOT
- WHMIS
- Valid Operator Certificates where applicable
- End-user / practical hands-on training is required for equipment certifications. Online-only courses will not be accepted.
Applicable Equipment Certifications May Include
- Aerial Lift Platform (AWP / EWP)
- Telehandler
- Forklift
- Skid Steer
- Other similar equipment certifications, as applicable
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment safely and according to site requirements
- Assist with general labour and site duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members
- Provide copies of required certifications before starting work
Qualifications
- Previous construction or site experience is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to provide valid certification documents upon request
- Practical equipment experience is strongly preferred
