Scaffold Planner / Coordinator – DOW Project

Brock Canada is preparing for upcoming work at DOW, with activity expected to begin in July and ramp up through August into 2027. We are looking for an experienced planning and coordination talent to support safe, organized, and efficient project execution.
As a Scaffold Planner / Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, and documentation required to execute scaffold and work access activities in an industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong scaffold knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with operations, supervision, field teams, and the client to keep work moving.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Support planning and coordination of scaffold and work access activities for upcoming DOW work.
- Review work scopes, site requirements, drawings, photos, field information, and client expectations to support practical scaffold planning.
- Assist with preparing scaffold plans, sketches, drawings, material requirements, and related documentation.
- Work closely with site supervision, forepersons, project leadership, and client representatives to understand priorities and execution needs.
- Support scheduling, sequencing, material planning, and work package coordination.
- Help identify constraints, access challenges, and opportunities to improve efficiency in the field.
- Maintain accurate records, drawing registers, and planning documentation.
- Communicate clearly with internal and site teams to ensure alignment between plan, schedule, and execution.
- Support safe, compliant, and efficient scaffold execution by ensuring planning details are accurate and complete.
What You Bring
The successful candidate will bring:
- Strong craft knowledge in scaffolding, work access, or industrial construction.
- Experience in scaffold planning, scaffold design, field coordination, or a related support role.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, site photos, specifications, and field information.
- Strong understanding of scaffold systems, constructability, and industrial site requirements.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3D modelling, or similar tools is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work well with field and office teams.
Working Conditions
This role is site based and will involve field verification, surveys, meetings, and execution support. Personal protective equipment will be required when attending site areas.
