C Market Coffee is an innovative boutique roastery café dedicated to serving exceptional specialty coffee alongside fresh, high-quality food. We're looking for friendly, energetic, and motivated individuals who are passionate about coffee and customer service to join our team. Whether you're an experienced barista or just beginning your coffee journey, we'd love to meet you. Training is provided, and selected team members may have opportunities to learn advanced barista techniques and coffee roasting from experienced professionals.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Take customer orders using our POS system and recommend menu items.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card payments accurately.
- Prepare and serve beverages and food according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Keep the café seating area clean and inviting.
- Restock coffee, tea, paper products, and other café supplies.
- Assist with daily opening, closing, and general café operations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Weekend availability is required.
- Fluent in English.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification.
- Serving It Right certification.
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability.
- Barista experience is an asset but not required—we provide training.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine passion for coffee.
- Excellent attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
