We are hiring Summer Activity Counsellors and Tutors who are passionate about working with children and making learning fun. You will lead engaging academic and creative sessions for children in Grades 1–6, combining learning with play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group sessions that blend learning with fun (academic + activity-based)
- Plan and implement creative lessons using role-playing, storytelling, music, basic dance, and interactive games
- Organize and supervise arts & crafts, music, drama, and STEM-based activities
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage participation and creativity
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and learning styles
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- Energetic, creative, and passionate about child development and education
- Ability to engage students through fun and interactive teaching methods
- Background in education, early childhood studies, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferable)
Job Type: Part-time (weekdays - minimum twice a week- 12-24 hours/week
Salary: Starting from $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (higher for deserving candidate )
