Production Baker – JJ Bean Coffee Roasters Commissary
The Schedule: Compressed work week: 4 days @ 10 hours/day.
Work hours:
- Monday-Saturday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Sundays & statutory holidays: 8:30am – 6:30pm
- Weekend availability required
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have completed a Baking and Pastry program
- Are experienced with mixing equipment (Hobart, spiral mixers) and techniques for quick breads, cookies, and various doughs
- Know your way around vegan and gluten-free baking
- Have lamination and Viennoiserie shaping experience (or are eager to learn!)
- Thrive in a busy, physically active environment
- Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Communicate effectively in English
- Are reliable, punctual, and love learning
- Can stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg
- Hold a valid Canadian work permit
