We are urgently hiring Counterbalance Forklift Operators / Dock Lead for our leading clients' warehouse located in Mississauga, ON
This is a full-time job. Not open for students looking for part-time work.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work up to 40 hour/week or more on SIN.

Locations:
- Near Highway 401 and Dixie Road, Mississauga, ON
Weekly Schedule (Sunday Night to Friday Morning)
- 11:30 PM / 12:30 AM till 8:00 / 9:00 AM, Sunday Night to Friday Morning
- Weekly off on Friday night and Saturday night
Specific Duties
- Drive a Counterbalance Forklift in a safe and efficient manner in a cross-dock LTL warehouse
- Strong experience in loading, unloading trailers in a LTL Cross-dock warehouse
- Planning and knowledge of city Delivery's
- Controlling the doors of which trailers come into the building and out to the yard
- Aid the supervisor with overseeing the dock staff
- Assist with loading local delivery's and unloading Inbound trailers
- Used to checking emails to follow up with appointments to ensure freight is delivered correctly and on time
- Working with the Dispatch team ensuring the trailers are loaded correctly per the drivers run
- Loading and unloading trailers, stacking, moving skids etc.
- Moving damaged products to designated physical location
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Performs any other duties as directed by the supervisor or distribution manager
Qualifications:
- A valid license to operate Counterbalance forklift
- At least 3 years experience with Counterbalance Forklift in cross-dock warehouse environment
- Experience as Team Lead / Lead Hand managing team
- Strong experience in loading, stacking, in Cross-dock warehouse preferred
- High school or equivalent
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Experience using R.F. Scanners
- Above average attention to detail
- Able to lift around 40 to 50 lbs as required.
- A clear criminal check required.
