Job Summary: This role is to assist the Human Resources department in day to day activities and Environmental Health and Safety tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a University or College degree in Human Resources
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and verbal

Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

Must work in accordance with HealthSafety regulations, Martinrea Industrial Canada rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by Martinrea Industrial Canada

Help maintain HRIS; enter new hires, process pay changes, etc.

Help with recruitment activities of all personnel

Help track employee headcount/manning

Organize employee events and activities at site level
- Maintain training records for all employees
- Help employees with questions and concerns regarding but not limited to hourly pay, benefits, health and safety

Help maintain employee communication boards
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Must understand the six elements of the Quality System, Record Retention, Document Control, Non-conforming Material, Corrective Action, Preventative Action and internal audits as well as department procedures.
