Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert renovation techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to safety standards. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute renovation projects accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall repairs.
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to restore or build foundational structures.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, electrical wiring, plumbing, welding, and masonry techniques to complete diverse renovation tasks.
- Estimate project costs by assessing materials needed and planning work sequences; collaborate with project managers on timelines.
- Execute restoration work including drywall repair, flooring replacement, tile installation, electrical upgrades, plumbing repairs, and surface refinishing.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of building processes and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
