We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee engineering operations at two adjacent Marriott-branded properties: Four Points by Sheraton Calgary Airport and Element Calgary Airport.
This is a leadership role responsible for maintaining both properties to brand standards while managing daily operations, systems, and team performance.
Role Overview
You will lead all aspects of maintenance across both hotels, ensuring efficient operations, strong preventative maintenance programs, and timely resolution of issues. This role requires both technical expertise and strong organizational and computer skills to manage maintenance systems, track work orders, and oversee reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Manage and execute preventative maintenance programs across both properties
- Utilize and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work orders, tracking, and reporting
- Delegate tasks effectively to maintenance staff and monitor performance
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety regulations, and inspections
- Respond to urgent issues and participate in an on-call rotation
- Support capital projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and operational reports
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years experience in hotel or commercial maintenance leadership
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems
- Proven ability to manage, delegate, and lead a team
- Experience with CMMS platforms (e.g., HotSOS, Quore, or similar)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Marriott or branded hotel experience is an asset
- Power Engineering certification (asset, not required)
- Pool Certification

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
