Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction and maintenance skills to perform various repair, installation, and renovation tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a proactive individual capable of working independently or as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, construction techniques, and the use of hand and power tools is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and other fixtures as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work when required.
- Estimate project costs and materials for renovation or repair jobs.
- Utilize caulking, welding, restoration techniques, and other specialized skills to complete projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with clients or team members to plan project scope and timelines.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or related trades.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized construction techniques such as concrete forming or tile laying.
- Knowledge of restoration processes and flooring installation is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.

Pay: $17.81-$25.00 per hour
