As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team.
Position Summary
The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for residential exterior renovation and custom home projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Review architectural and construction drawings
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Prepare detailed project estimates and proposals
- Request and evaluate supplier pricing
- Maintain estimating databases and pricing information
- Assist with budgeting and cost analysis
- Identify discrepancies or missing information within project documents
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Production teams
- Continuously improve estimating processes using technology and AI tools
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
QualificationsRequired
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction estimating experience
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer proficiency
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence
Preferred
- Experience reading architectural drawings
- Construction estimating experience
- Residential construction knowledge
- AutoCAD or Revit experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
