We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to support our client's team on a seasonal, full-time basis. This role involves a variety of landscaping and hardscaping tasks across multiple job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscaping duties such as planting, grading, sod installation, and general yard maintenance
- Support hardscaping projects, including laying stone, pavers, and other materials
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous relevant experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Steel toe boots are required
- Reliable transportation is required (shop is not on a bus route)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to take direction and work independently when needed
Job Details:
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM start – typically 5:00 PM finish (may vary)
- Pay: $20.00/hour
Additional Details:
- Employees will meet at the shop in Thorold each morning and travel to job sites with the team
- Workdays may extend beyond typical hours depending on project needs
