Inclusion Chilliwack Society is looking for an exceptional Caregiver to support and enhance the life of an adult with developmental disabilities in our HomeShare program. As a HomeShare Provider, you are considered an independent contractor, providing the necessary delivery of service of care in your home.
As a HomeShare Provider, you are someone who thrives on building a positive relationship with the individual you support. You make the individual feel like a family member in your home and are dedicated to promoting their independence whenever possible.

Daily Tasks and Activities:
- Supporting and promoting independence
- Caregiving /healthcare assistance
- Meal support
- Housekeeping assistance
- Companionship/Inclusion
- Transportation to activities/appointments
- Providing emotional support
Requirements and Experience:
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Clear criminal record
- Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with the individual, ICS Manager, and Health Care Professionals
- Experience supporting complex health issues
- Skilled in supporting addictions
- Experience with supporting an individual with ADHD and anxiety
- Experience in providing trauma-informed care
- Medical experience would be an asset
- Experience with the harm reduction approach
- Money management skills would be an asset
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $2,460.00 per month
