Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Cashier/Sales Representative to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with product selections. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide information about merchandise to enhance customer experience
- Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations including basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure adherence to store policies regarding cashiering, security, and customer service standards
Skills
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales preferred
- Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
- Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
- Basic understanding of technology sales or technical products is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Pay: $18.20-$21.77 per hour
