An exciting opportunity is available for a 310T Licensed Technician with TOK Performance. Based out of our maintenance facility in Orillia, Ontario, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting TOK Performance's contract to operate and maintain the LINX and LINX+ regional transit services throughout Simcoe County.
LINX and LINX+ provide vital public transportation connections between communities across Simcoe County, and our maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of the fleet. As a licensed 310T Technician, you will be responsible for regular inspections and repairs to the buses in our transit fleet.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The 310T Licensed Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of buses in our transit fleet. Specifically, tasks will include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on coach and transit-style buses;
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, air, hydraulic, and electronic system issues using schematics and technical manuals;
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and servicing as scheduled;
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company, OEM, and MTO standards;
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and compliance-related maintenance activities;
- Update work orders in our maintenance tracking system as work is completed;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety requirements; and
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Must hold a 310T Truck and Coach Technician License;
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License (CZ license considered an asset);
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive, or related equipment;
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
- Comfortable using computer systems for tracking and updating work orders;
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced technicians;
- Experience with transit or coach vehicles would be an asset; and
- Experience with Cummins engines would be an asset.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Typical work week will be 40 hours, currently 5 days per week, with occasional Saturdays as required. Possible change to 4 x 10-hour days in the future.

Pay: $43.00-$45.00 per hour
