Kendi Boutique is a women’s fashion boutique located in downtown Regina, focused on creating a welcoming, stylish, and personalized shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. We are looking for someone who enjoys fashion, customer connection, styling, and being part of a collaborative boutique environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both customer service and the day to day operations that help keep a boutique running smoothly. Position Summary.
We are currently hiring a Part Time Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, reliable, customer focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. This position involves much more than sales. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming, clean and engaging boutique environment while helping customers feel confident and comfortable in their shopping experience. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys fashion, has strong people skills, and is motivated to take initiative during both busy and slower periods throughout the day.
Responsibilities.
- Create a welcoming and personalized shopping experience for customers
- Assist customers with styling, sizing, and product recommendations
- Build positive customer relationships and maintain customer profiles
- Completing sales transactions using the POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing boutique environment
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Assist with inventory, receiving, steaming, tagging, and merchandising product
- Support the day to day operations and overall upkeep of the boutique
- Contribute ideas for displays, styling, customer engagement, and social media content
- Assist with boutique social media and marketing initiatives when needed
- Answer phones and assist customers in person in a professional and friendly manner
- Work collaboratively with the boutique team while also being comfortable working independently
- Take initiative during quieter periods by supporting boutique organization, merchandising, and operational tasks
- Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards

Qualifications.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or retail experience preferred
- Previous boutique or fashion retail experience is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic technology
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and Saturdays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with merchandising tasks including lifting clothing, mannequins, totes, and displays
