Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Write detailed service orders by accurately documenting vehicle issues, maintenance requests, and repair recommendations
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide transparent explanations of repair estimates, costs, and timelines to customers
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspections and customer needs to enhance vehicle safety and performance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or familiarity with automotive sales processes
- Mechanical experience or strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle repairs and diagnostics
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers of varying knowledge levels
- Strong sales aptitude with a talent for upselling services in a consultative manner
- Experience in automotive repair environments is highly desirable
- Competence in cash handling and transaction processing with attention to detail
