Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Summer Camp - Triple Threat Teacher specializing in Singing, Acting, and Dance or, a singing teacher to join our Summer Camp Team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire children ages 5-12 through performing arts (singing, acting, dance), fostering their creativity and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and experience working with children, along with skills in tutoring, classroom management, and early childhood education. This position is paid and perfect for individuals dedicated to making a positive impact during the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and age-appropriate singing, acting, and dance activities for children enrolled in the summer camp program
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate creative arts techniques suitable for various age groups
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation, self-expression, and teamwork among campers
- Provide tutoring or additional support to children needing extra help in performing arts activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers throughout daily activities
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to organize performances or showcases at the end of the camp session
- Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean classroom environment
- Incorporate fun educational activities such as cooking or arts crafts that complement the performing arts curriculum when appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in teaching or tutoring children in performing arts or related fields
- Strong background in singing, acting, and dance with demonstrated classroom experience
- Experience working with children of various ages, especially in early childhood education settings
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing attitude toward young learners
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Passion for arts education and fostering creativity in children
- Relevant experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is highly desirable

Pay: From $700.00 per week

- Applicants must be available to work during camp hours as follows: July 27th to 31st and/or August 10th to 14th. Hours are 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Are you available to work these hours?

Experience:
- Teaching visual & performing arts: 2 years (preferred)
