As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Telecommunications Lead Installer to lead installation crews and deliver high-quality projects for our customers.

What You'll Do
As a Telecommunications Lead Installer, you'll lead crews on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects while ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring installation crews
- Coordinating daily activities with Project Managers
- Reading drawings and organizing work on site
- Installing and testing structured cabling and fibre optic systems
- Installing security, access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, wireless, and low-voltage systems
- Performing cable testing, troubleshooting, certification, and documentation
- Maintaining quality control throughout every project
- Building positive relationships with customers and other trades
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of telecommunications or low-voltage installation experience
- Previous experience leading installation crews
- Strong structured cabling experience
- Fibre optic installation and testing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Criminal Record Check
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
- BICSI Certification
- Fibre Splicing Certification
- Structured Cabling Certifications
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Fall Protection
- Elevated Work Platform
- First Aid
- Confined Space

Working Conditions
- Travel throughout the Kootenays and other areas of British Columbia
- Overnight travel may be required
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Occasional evening and weekend work
- Construction and industrial environments
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work at heights using ladders and lifts
- Work in confined spaces
- Kneel, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
