Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Engage in upselling by recommending additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts as needed
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping experience
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Demonstrated ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well within a team while also independently managing responsibilities
- Prior experience in merchandising, upselling, and retail sales is preferred
