Summary
We are seeking a skilled In-House Mechanic and Lube Technician to join our team in Canada. Based in our local facility, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance to meet our company's mission of timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small vans, trucks, and semi-tractors.
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Support the team in vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Pick up and deliver freight, supporting the field side when primary tasks a caught up.

- Qualifications
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience with automotive repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with team members.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently.
- Prior experience working with delivery or fleet vehicles is a plus.
