We are currently looking for a Part time Pharmacist for 1 or 2 days per week in a retail pharmacy situated inside a doctor’s office (family practice and walk-in clinic). Ideal candidates must be capable of working alone comfortably without the need of a pharmacy assistant .

Responsibilities:
- Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions.
- Establish and maintain standards of practice, accreditation, and operations consistent with Ontario College of Pharmacists standards
- Accurately and timely claim submission and/or registration of all patient focused services performed.
- Perform patient focused services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients
- Report any dispensing errors (Medication Incident) found to the Pharmacy Manager
- Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty.
- Maintaining the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory record
Experience and Skills Required:
- Master / Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or equivalent education
- Registered as a Part A register pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists or eligible for registration.
- 1+ years of experience as a staff pharmacist in retail establishment is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Kroll software.
- Proven interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork
