MomoNepal is looking for a reliable, friendly and energetic person to join our team as a Takeout & Market Operations Associate.
Location: MomoNepal, 56 Supreme Court, Halifax
Hours: Approximately 25 hours/week, with the opportunity to increase up to 35 hours/week based on availability
Availability Required: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Pay: $19 starting
What you’ll be doing:
- Serving customers and taking orders at our Halifax takeout location
- Preparing, steaming and packing momo and other menu items
- Managing takeout and delivery-platform orders
- Keeping the workspace clean, organized and stocked
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Working at our Saturday farmers market after training
- Setting up, serving customers and helping operate the market alongside another MomoNepal team member
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and comfortable talking with customers
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Consistently available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Previous restaurant, café, farmers-market or customer-service experience is an asset, but reliability, attitude and willingness to learn matter most to us.
