Job description:
- Delegate workload to yourself and the mold making team
- Be the voice of experience to the Mold making team and ensure work is executed properly and efficiently
- Be the “driver” of the mold checklist ensuring that it is completed accurately, to the work order and for every job
- Sit in and participate in Design reviews when needed
- Assist on the shop floor as required with hands on mold making
- Maintain and request shop supply orders as required
Expectation:
- 20+ years of experience in all aspects of mold making
- Capable of completing tasks as assigned by management
- Assembly and disassembly of injection molds of varying complexity (repairs and preventative maintenance)
- Read and verify all critical information on Work Order and on drawings
- Component and Press Spotting as required
- Make mold details using milling machines, lathes and surface grinders
- Focuses on continuous improvement and creative solutions to get the job done
- Uses effective problem-solving skills on every task
- Perform daily duties with little to no supervision
- Professional attitude with an ability to teach
- Reliable and punctual
