Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, and more. This role requires a professional with excellent technical skills, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, operate heavy equipment, and perform detailed craftsmanship to ensure high-quality project completion. The Tradesman will play a vital role in executing diverse construction projects, from concrete finishing to restoration work, contributing to the successful delivery of our clients' visions.
Duties
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently for various tasks such as framing, masonry, electrical installations, plumbing, and concrete finishing
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to meet specified standards
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, and other interior finishes with precision
- Conduct construction painting and restoration work to restore or enhance existing structures
- Estimate materials and labor needs for projects using construction estimating techniques
- Operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts, or excavators as required for site preparation or material handling
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each phase of construction
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, welding, or flooring installation
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and drywall installation is desirable
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely on construction sites
- Prior involvement in restoration projects or tile laying is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
We work 10 hour days, 4 days per week. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to apply a broad skill set across various aspects of construction. Candidates should demonstrate versatility, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Pay: $22.81-$42.71 per hour
