The Transdisciplinary Program at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor position to teach TDST 601 for Winter 2027 term.
The appointment runs from January 4, 2027 until April 30, 2027.
TDST 601 Transdisciplinary Knowledge Engagement
Delivery Format: In-person
Course Description: An introduction to integrative knowledge engagement with a focus on reciprocal partnerships with a range of community and industry stakeholders to close the gap between research and policy or practice. A focus on the tools and techniques required to ensure that research is collaborative and findings are effectively translated for the relevant stakeholders.
Course Schedule: Tuesdays, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Qualifications

Doctoral degree
- Demonstrated expertise conducting transdisciplinary research and knowledge engagement

Demonstrated experience collaborating in successful community-based research partnerships

Evidence of effective teaching of community-based research methods and knowledge engagement at the graduate level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic environment
