About the Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and positioning furniture at various client locations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
This role requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. Previous experience in furniture installation or related trades is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport furniture to designated locations within client premises
- Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Read installation instructions and basic drawings
- Install cabinets, shelving, desks, and other office furnishings
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure installations are level, secure, and meet safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers on site regarding installation details
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after installations
- Complete installation documentation accurately and promptly
- Load and unload furniture when required
- Drive company vehicles when required to transport furniture and equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture installation, carpentry, or related fields is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy furniture safely (50 lbs or more)
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in different environments
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving abstract required
- Experience driving company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 5-ton trucks is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
