Front Desk Agent – Aspen Inn
Must already reside in Smithers or be willing to commute.
The Aspen Inn is looking for a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
- Process payments and balance daily transactions
- Assist guests with local information, directions, and hotel services
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle guest concerns or issues in a calm and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and lobby areas
- Monitor hotel security and follow operational procedures
- Support team members and assist in other areas when required
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers and hotel reservation systems
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
