Backs in Action Rehab & Wellness Centre (BIA) is comprised of a team of passionate and collaborative health professionals and staff that are committed to creating customized programs to get our patients back in action!
We are a multi-disciplinary clinic located in a busy Vancouver Business Community across from the Renfrew Skytrain Station. We are a growing team of integrated healthcare professionals consisting of chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and counselors. The spacious 2,000 sq ft clinic has state-of-the-art equipment offering multi-modal care including electrotherapy, ultrasound, IFC, and active rehabilitation-focused gym equipment including a bike, TRX, hoist machine, and more!
Skytrain accessibility, ample free parking, online booking, and direct billing to insurance is available to all our clients. You can focus on patient care while leaving the booking, billing, administrative support, and marketing to us.
We are looking for a new addition to our team. Whether you are an established practitioner or a fresh new graduate, we have the right part-time and/or full-time opportunity for you!
A flexible schedule and competitive compensation will be offered to successful candidates. Availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as well as IMS certification, are considered assets.
We will also consider interim registrants and candidates who share our values of patient-centred care and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.
A signing bonus will be offered to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and medical terminology requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or registration as a Physiotherapist with relevant health authorities (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Proven experience in patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and clinical assessments.
Pay: $60.00-$90.00 per hour
