Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be proficient in operating various types of forklift equipment such as Walkie, Raymond Reach and Order Picker all together. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to our overall operational success.
Day Shift- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Afternoon- 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all materials are handled according to OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Engage in materials handling activities, including stacking, storing, and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Participate in training sessions for new equipment or procedures as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum experience required is 1 year
- Must have forklift licenses Walkie, Raymond Reach and Order Picker.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job duties.
- High school diploma required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
