Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional experiences. This role involves delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Ideal candidates will have restaurant and or bartending experience and a passion for hospitality, with strong skills in POS systems, food safety, and cash handling. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks adhering to recipes and safety guidelines
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met, including proper handling and sanitation practices
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
- Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; availability for serving shifts is essential
