Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front of House Supervisor to lead daily service operations while remaining actively involved in day-to-day service. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes supervising staff, serving tables, and working bar/barista shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about hospitality and guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years serving experience (required)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality (required)
- Bar and/or barista experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of high-volume restaurant operations
- Experience with OpenTable and/or Square POS systems is an asset
- ProServe certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Must be reliable, professional, and hands-on
- Evening and weekend availability is required
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily front-of-house operations
- Lead and supervise FOH staff during service
- Serve tables and actively participate in floor service
- Work bar and barista shifts as required
- Ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Assist with training and onboarding new staff
- Support private events, including setup and teardown
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and management teams
- Assist with reservations, seating flow, and shift organization
Schedule Requirements
- Full-time salaried position
- Minimum 45 hours per week
- Must have evening and weekend availability (non-negotiable)
- Flexibility required for holidays, events, and peak service periods
