Responsibilities
- Assist arborists in tree care and maintenance tasks, including pruning and removal of trees, brush cleanup, cabling etc.
- Utilize rigging techniques and rope management skills to safely prune and dismantle trees
- Maintain chainsaws, wood chippers, trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols using the Arborist Safe Work Practices and the MTO Book 7 guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all of our team members.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; training will be provided *landscaping or laborer experience is an asset
- Familiarity with climbing, rigging and bucket truck operation is a plus. A boaters license and knowledge of our locals lakes is a huge plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and safety protocols

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
