Responsibilities:
What's your day like as a crane operator?
- Operate various types of cranes (mobile, harbor, tower, etc.) to move, load and unload cargo from ships or docks;

Coordinate lifting movements with ground crew members using signals or communication equipment;

Strictly comply with safety procedures and operational instructions;

Inspect equipment daily and report any breakdowns or anomalies;

Perform certain basic maintenance tasks on equipment;

Adapt to weather conditions and variable maritime schedules;

Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
To succeed as a Crane Operator, you must have :

Experience in the maritime field or in port handling (major asset);

Knowledge of safe shipping and cargo handling practices;

1 to 2 years of experience as a crane operator;

Valid training in crane operation;
-
Good physical condition and ability to work in a demanding environment;

Ability to work in a team and manage pressure in an operational environment;

Availability to work days, evenings and nights.

Working knowledge of English
