Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable, preparing payroll, completing bank reconciliations, and assisting with general bookkeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded promptly.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Data Entry:
- Accurately input data into financial software and spreadsheets.
- Ensure all data is up to date and error-free.
- Payroll Processing:
- Preparation and processing of payroll for employees.
- Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices and payments efficiently.
- Manage customer accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or data entry, preferably in a multi-branch environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members across different locations
- Preference will be given to candidates who currently reside in the local area or already have permanent authorization to work in Canada, as this position requires an immediate start.
