The Food and Beverage Food Runner is responsible for removing all used tableware between courses, clear and reset tables after guests leave and assist the Food and Beverage team of Servers in delivering orders to designated tables.
Job Duties
Remove tableware between courses and provide tableware for the following course(s)- Clear tables after guests leave and bring dishes to the dish room ensuring silverware, dishes, glassware etc. are placed in appropriate areas for washing
- Promptly clean tabletops and chairs of any spills or crumbs
- Reset and arrange tables as needed
- Communicate efficiently with the Food and Beverage team of Servers to ensure proper food delivery to each table
- Be available to fill in as needed during peak hours for smooth and efficient service to Members as directed by the Food and Beverage Supervisor or Manager
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Management
Requirements
Friendly and approachable- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Be able to stand for prolong period of time
- Be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Must be a team player
- Energetic and flexible, able to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated, creative, capable of working in a team environment
- POS Jonas experience is an asset
- Command of the English language, both written and spoken
