Order Picker / Forklift Operator – Evening Shift
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Nova Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Picker / Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Dartmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have experience operating forklifts and picking orders accurately.
Schedule
Sunday: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload products as required
- Perform inventory checks and assist with stock organization
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Order Picker and Forklift Operator
- Valid forklift certification is considered an asset
- Ability to lift, carry, and move products throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment
- Must not have any seafood allergies due to the nature of the products handled
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
