Position Summary
The Weekend Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked breakfast area while delivering excellent customer service. This position ensures the breakfast buffet is prepared, maintained, and cleaned according to hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and prepare the breakfast area before service begins.
- Set up the breakfast buffet with all required food and beverage items.
- Monitor food levels throughout breakfast service and replenish items as needed.
- Ensure all food is presented in a clean, organized, and appealing manner.
- Brew and replenish coffee, tea, juices, and other beverages.
- Keep the breakfast area, tables, counters, and serving stations clean and sanitized throughout service.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with any requests.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment as required.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, counters, and food preparation areas after breakfast service.
- Empty garbage and recycling throughout the breakfast area and kitchen.
- Sweep and mop floors after breakfast service is complete.
- Report any maintenance concerns or equipment issues to management.
- Monitor breakfast inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Properly store all food items following food safety guidelines.
- Lock and secure the breakfast area at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is considered an asset.
- Previous hospitality or food service experience is an asset but not required.
Schedule
- Saturday and Sunday mornings.
- Must be available to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: From $19.10 per hour
