Do you believe every student deserves equitable access to education and the opportunity to succeed on their own terms?
The Centre for Autism Services Alberta (CFASA) is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and organized Learning Support Coordinator to lead our post-secondary learning support program. In this role, you'll oversee a team of Learning Support Peers while working directly with students with developmental disabilities to help them achieve their academic, social, and employment goals.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, building meaningful relationships, collaborating with campus partners, and creating inclusive learning environments where students can develop confidence, independence, and long-term success.
If you're an experienced leader with a passion for disability inclusion and student success, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Organization
The Centre for Autism Services Alberta (CFASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to working alongside Autistic people and their families. We welcome the unique contributions future staff can bring in terms of their education, opinions, neurotype, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and beliefs.
About the Role
As the Learning Support Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of learning support services for students with developmental disabilities attending post-secondary education. Working closely with students, faculty, Accessibility Services, and community partners, you'll play an important role in creating inclusive campus experiences that promote academic achievement, social connection, self-advocacy, and future employment success.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week. The Learning Support Coordinator enjoys a flexible work schedule designed to meet both program and student needs. While the majority of work is completed during regular business hours, this role requires flexibility to occasionally meet with or support students during evenings and weekends, depending on their class schedules, coursework, campus activities, and individual support needs.
